Macaroni Grill Recipe INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 c. elbow macaroni (or zite, penne, etc)
- salt and pepper
- 1 large can tomato sauce
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 tsp. basil
- 8 oz. cheddar or mozzarella cheese or mixture, shredded
Preheat oven to 300°F.
Cook and drain macaroni. Brown beef with diced onion; drain excess liquid. Add macaroni and enough tomato sauce to coat macaroni well. Pour into greased casserole dish and sprinkle evenly with shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese. You can also use any shredded cheese mixture, such as Mexican or 3-cheese mix.
Sprinkle with oregano and basil (or use 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning) and bake for 45 minutes.
